Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani, conducts a Dwipakshik Matri Puja on the third Sunday of every month, extending love and support to around 140 economically disadvantaged elderly mothers by offering puja items.
On 17 August 2025, the programme commenced with Vedic chanting at 10:00 am. The registered mothers were warmly received with sandal paste tilak and garlands. Puja items distributed on this occasion included rice, dal, potato, suji, puffed rice, sugar, soybean, and turmeric powder.
The programme concluded with peace chanting at 11:15 am.
