1. Free Cataract Surgery Camp
On 20th July 2025, a Free Cataract Screening Camp was organized at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.
Details of the camp:
- Outpatients examined: 238 (Male: 99, Female: 139)
- Patients selected for surgery: 85
- Patients operated: 82 (Male: 39, Female: 43)
- Spectacles provided: 27
- Date of Surgery: 22 July 2025
- Place of Surgery: Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai
2. Distribution of Ration Kits
After the surgeries 22nd July 2025, 82 eye patients were each provided with a free ration kit consisting of the following items:
- 1 Kg Dal
- 1 Kg Sugar
- ½ Kg Tamarind
- 1 Kg Edible Oil
- 200 gms Chilli Powder
- ½ Kg Sambar Powder
- 1 Kg Sooji (Rava)
- 1 Bathing Soap
