On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the Free Coaching Centre run by Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, the centre organised a free eye camp with the help of Lions Club of Nabadwip on 20 August 2023, where 160 students of the Free Coaching Centre were screened.
Since the beginning in 1999, the Coaching Centre is providing free education, nutrition etc every year to 100 underprivileged students of the locality. Students also attend cultural and computer classes here. Many of its ex-students were first generation learners, some of them are now well established in the society.
On 20 August 2023 morning, a grand procession consisting of more than 400 students, guardians, former students & teachers, and devotees rallied around Nabadwip town along with images and tableaus of Sriman Mahaprabhu and the Holy Trio, to commemorate the occasion.
