Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, in collaboration with Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal, Chennai, organized an eye screening camp on March 9, 2025.
The camp took place in the village of Pazhayaseevaram and served nearby areas, including Periya Colony, Ullavur, Varadapuram, Melacherry, and others. The key details of the camp are as follows:
- 19 in-patients were selected for cataract surgery (8 males, 11 females).
- A total of 81 patients were screened (29 males, 52 females).
- 28 patients received prescription eyeglasses (9 males, 19 females).
