The Ramakrishna Mission, Batticaloa, organized extensive flood relief efforts in Batticaloa and nearby areas, including Manminai North. On November 28, 2024, they served cooked lunch to 710 individuals.
Between November 28 and December 10, 2024, the mission distributed dry food supplies to 390 flood-affected families. The aid included 1,950 kg of rice, 390 kg of flour, 390 kg of sugar, 390 kg of pulses, 97.5 kg of soya chunks, and 390 kg of salt.
