Flood Relief: Dhaka, Bangladesh, September 2024

Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, Bangladesh


Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, conducted a Flood Relief Program in Feni district of Bangladesh on August 31, 2024.

  • 2,655 kilograms of rice
  • 1,062 kilograms of potatoes
  • 531 kilograms of lentils
  • 266 liters of edible oil
  • 531 kilograms of salt
  • 531 pieces of soap
  • 2,655 packets of oral saline
  • 531 liters of purified drinking water

were distributed among 531 families.

In addition, Dhaka centre conducted another flood relief program for the flood-affected people of Noakhali, Bangladesh, on September 1, 2024. They provided financial assistance to cover the food expenses of 251 people for three days.

Furthermore, in response to the political unrest in Bangladesh, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, carried out a disturbance relief program. Financial support was distributed among 29 affected families in Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, and Lalmonirhat districts of Bangladesh on September 7, 2024.
