In response to the severe flooding caused by continuous heavy rainfall across Agartala and its suburbs, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar swiftly launched relief operations to support the affected residents who were forced to take shelter in various relief camps.
2nd June 2025
Cooked food consisting of khichuri and curry was distributed to 800 people across the following four locations:
- Rajnagar H.S. School
- Mahabir Club
- Durgachowmohani
- Srilankavasti
The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) visited the sites and extended their support, reflecting a strong coordination between government authorities and the Mission.
3rd June 2025
Cooked food (khichuri and curry) was served to approximately 1,000 people at the following six locations:
- Rishipara
- Biswas Para
- Pratapgarh
- Mahavir Club
- Jainagar
- Araliya Vidyalaya
4th June 2025
In continuation of the relief efforts, 1,000 dry ration kits were distributed in Pratapgarh. Each kit contained:
- 1 kg of rice
- 500 g of dal
- 350 g of soybeans
These timely interventions provided essential nourishment and support to those most affected by the calamity.
