Ramakrishna Mission, Contai, is doing flood relief in the Purba Medinipur district. From 20 – 27 September 2021, the ashrama distributed 10,530 kg chira, 1,608 kg sugar, 3,785 kg muri and 5920 packets of biscuits among 4,020 distressed families of Bhagawanpur I and II blocks of Purba Medinipur.
