As a part of the primary flood relief, Ramakrishna Ashrama, Tiruvalla (Kerala) distributed relief materials to flood affected families in Kuttor (Patahnamthitta Dist), Thalavady and Thiruvanvadoor (Alapuzha Dist), and Changanassery (Kottayam Dist).
