Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindaban, has conducted flood relief services in July and August 2023. The ashrama distributed cooked food to approximately 4600 affected people from 16 July to 22 July 2023, and again from 29 July to 10 August 2023.
The ashrama also distributed milk, sweet buns and biscuits in the evening to approximately 3400 flood affected people from 16 July to 22 July 2023, and again from 29 July to 10 August 2023.
The ashrama distributed groceries to 920 families (5303 recipients) in Vrindavan (Gurukul, Panighat, Pilikothi, Shyamnagar, and near the Old Ashrama).
Total 4600 kg of rice, 920 kg of dal, 4600 kg of wheat flour, 920 kg of salt, 760 ltrs of cooking oil, 600 pkts (200 gm each) of milk powder and 400 bottles (500 ml) of phenyl has been distributed to 920 families.
