Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara, played a crucial role in providing primary relief to flood-affected areas in the city and nearby villages. From August 28th to 30th, 2024, the organization distributed essential supplies to those impacted by the floods in Akota and villages like Medhad and Husepur in Padra Taluka.
The relief efforts included the distribution of:
- Cooked Khichodi: 1900 servings
- Rice and Dal Fry: 300 servings
- 5 Puri & Potato Curry: 400 servings
- Fruit (Banana): 2000 pieces
- Food Packet (Farsan/Sev Mamara): 1600 packets
In total, the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial provided assistance to 2600 individuals during this time of crisis. Their efforts were instrumental in helping affected communities recover from the devastating effects of the floods.
