The 92nd Foundation Day Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan and Capping Ceremony of School of Nursing and Ma Sarada College of Nursing were held on 24th July, 2023 (Monday) at 12-00 noon at Dayananda Hall of the Pratishthan.
Sri Narayan Swaroop Nigam, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, was the Chief Guest.
Swami Sarvabhutananda ji, Trustee, Ramakrishna Math & Member, Governing Body, Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math and Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Balaram Mandir, attended the programme as Guest of Honour.
Sri Manisankar Mukherjee, Eminent Writer and Vice President of the Managing Committee of this Pratishthan presided over the function.
Prof. (Dr.) Sukanta Misra, Head, Department of Obs. & Gynae also gave a speech on this special occasion.
Prof. (Dr.) Sanjoy Mohan Bhattacharya, Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal delivered Vote of Thanks.
The Capping Ceremony of the School of Nursing and the Ma Sarada College of Nursing of this Pratishthan was also held on this auspicious day. 37 B.Sc. Nursing & 38 G.N.M. students were given the Nursing Cap and took vows of life-long dedicated service to the sick on the occasion.
The programme was attended by nearly 350 persons including distinguished guests, monks of this Pratishthan, doctors, nurses and students & staff members of all categories. Refreshment packets were distributed after the function.
