Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Manasadwip, successfully organized the Gangasagar Mela 2025 at its Gangasagar campus from 11th to 15th January 2025.
Key Highlights:
- Pilgrim Accommodation: The Ashrama provided accommodation to 444 pilgrims (243 male, 201 female) during the Mela.
- Prasad Distribution: A total of 750 pilgrims were served tea and tiffin, while 2032 pilgrims received noon and night prasad.
- Spiritual Discourse: Daily pravachans on Sri Sri Ramakrishna Bachanamrita were conducted from 12th to 14th January 2025 by Br. Tripurarichaitanya from Math Chandipur.
- Spiritual Practices: Mangalarati, morning formal worship, and evening arati were conducted at the shrine of the Gangasagar unit from 12th to 15th January 2025.
- National Youth Day: The Ashrama organized a National Youth Day program at the Mela Pravachan Kendra on 12th January 2025. This program, featuring Vivekananda Geeti by Swami Amarendrananda, readings from Swami Vivekananda’s writings by Br. Sunam and Br. Tripurarichaitanya, and a discourse by Swami Mahamritananda, was broadcast live through the Government’s website.
