Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashram, Kalady, in collaboration with the Gita Swadhyaya Samithi, Kalady, organized Gitotsavam 2025 on 30 November 2025. The programme featured a range of competitions for children and youth based on the Bhagavad Gita, including drawing, quiz, Gita chanting, and explanation of selected verses.
Participants from various districts of Kerala took part in this unique initiative, with around 100 children attending. Certificates and prizes were distributed to encourage the study and application of Gita teachings in daily life.
The programme was inaugurated by Swami Srividyananda, Adhyaksha of Kalady Ashram, who lit the lamp and addressed the gathering, explaining the significance of the Gita with selected ślokas.
All participants were served noon prasadam at the Ashram.
