As part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Shimla conducted flood relief work in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, with the generous support of Infosys Foundation and local donors.
Support was extended to 500 affected families across 14 Panchayats in the district. The following essential items were distributed to each family:
- Tarpaulins (18′ x 30′) – 500 pieces
- Solar lanterns with mobile charging facility and solar panels – 500 units
- Duckback gumboots – 1,000 pairs (2 per family)
This relief initiative was carried out as a humble service to alleviate the hardships faced by the flood-affected people in the region.
