Inauguration of the New Block of Hospital at Vrindavan : June 2017

The  NEW BLOCK of the Hospital was inaugurated amidst Vedic chanting on Wednesday, 7 June 2017 by Revered Swami Suvirananda Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. On the same occasion the 10 bedded ICU was also inaugurated by Sri Champalal Lohia, Chairman, Merino Industries (P) Ltd., Rohad, Haryana.

Sri Srinivas, Director-Health, Tata Trusts, Mumbai, Sri Chaitanya Kumar, Head of Finance & Individual Grants, Tata Trusts, Mumbai, Sri Sriram Beriwala, Sri Harimohan Beriwala of Kolkata and other distinguished guests, monks, doctors, nurses, devotees and hospital staff were present on this occasion apart from many monks from various centres of Ramakrishna Mission.

Revered Swami Suvirananda Maharaj, in his motivational speech stressed the need of sincere service  for the treatment of the  patients in light of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He also narrated many incidents wherein the life of Swami Vivekananda has left a deep impression.

The function started with opening songs by the nurses followed by the Welcome Address by Swami Suprakashananda, narration of the journey of the Hospital for the past one century by Swami Kalikrishnananda. Sri Champalal Lohia, Sri Chaitanya Kumar and Sri Srinivas also spoke on this occasion.

In this occassion Rs. 8 lacs worth scholarships sponsored by the Tata Trusts were distributed to eight meritorious nursing candidates for their higher education at graduation and post-graduation levels. The programme ended with the distribution of Mementos and Vote of Thanks by Swami Mokshavratanda.
