In a joyous celebration of Srimat Swami Adbhutanandaji’s birth anniversary (janma-tithi), Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, inaugurated a new Archway at the entrance of the Math on Saturday, 24 February 2024.
Though the Most Revered Vice President, Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, was unable to attend due to health reasons, his blessings were conveyed through a heartfelt letter read to the assembled devotees. Srimat Swami Swaprabhanandaji Maharaj graciously performed the inauguration ceremony on his behalf.
Following the unveiling, a public meeting commenced at 9:30 am, featuring distinguished guest speakers. The program began with a Vedic prayer by students of the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa, followed by insightful speeches and devotional bhajans.
The meeting concluded with a benedictory speech by Srimat Swami Swaprabhanandaji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Mission, Thiruvananthapuram, leaving the audience uplifted and inspired.
Over 200 devotees and well-wishers gathered for the program, enjoying a delicious lunch prasadam served.
To further commemorate the occasion, the Koyilandy Math distributed 35 sarees and 25 dhotis to underprivileged families in the evening, exemplifying the spirit of service and social responsibility.
