On November 13, 2024, Most Revered Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, inaugurated a new kitchen, dining hall, and book showroom at Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar.
The event featured performances by NCC cadets, tribal dancers, and students from various schools. Devotional songs were presented by Swami Kalyaneshananda.
Over ninety monks attended the inauguration ceremony, and approximately 3,000 people were served khichuri prasad.
