Inauguration of Charitable Dispensary and Education Centre: Bilaspur, August 2024

On August 11, 2024, Ramakrishna Mission, Bilaspur, witnessed the grand inauguration of the Maa Sarada Charitable Dispensary and Vivekananda Education Centre. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Revered Swami Suviranand ji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, who formally opened both institutions.

Maa Sarada Charitable Dispensary will offer a wide range of healthcare services including:

  • Outpatient care for various ailments such as medical, surgical, orthopedic, skin, gynecological, homeopathic, and Ayurvedic conditions.
  • Physiotherapy treatments.
  • Dental care.
  • Ophthalmology services.

Vivekananda Education Centre is dedicated to empowering the youth and will provide:

  • Hostel accommodation for 10 boys.
  • Free coaching classes.
  • Computer training.
  • A reading room facility for 75 students.

The inauguration was followed by a public meeting addressed by the Revered General Secretary Maharaj. Over 25 monks from different centers and 400 devotees attended the event. An evening session for devotees featured inspiring talks on Sri Thakur, Sri Maa, and Swami ji, drawing a crowd of 300 people. The day concluded with a vibrant cultural program presented by students.
