On 17 April 2024 “Sarada Charitable Dispensary” was inaugurated by Revered Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj at a building newly owned by Ramakrishna Math (Balaram Mandir), situated at 21C Gokul Mitra Lane, Kolkata – 700005.
Swami Nityamuktananda, Swami Purnajnanananda, monastic members of Kolkata, Dr Gour Gopal Das, Dr Ashoke Kumar Pradhan, Sri Shyamal Kumar Sen, Ex-Governor, Government of West Bengal and many sisters, doctors and devotees of our centre were present in this august congregation. The occasion was observed with Vedic Chanting and Devotional Songs.
After facilitation, a short meeting was arranged at the premises on ‘Sevayajna’. In his short speech, Revered Suviranandaji Maharaj recalled the serenity of Balaram Mandir as Thakur Sri Ramakrishna came and stayed here for more than 100 times. He also inspired all by saying that through such philanthropic service to poor and needy people, we may express our love and worship to God. All the participants, donors and well-wishers were thanked for initiation of the project.
On the previous day of inauguration programme, i.e., on 16 April 2024, Special Puja, Homa, Chandipath, Ramnam Sankirtan and other Devotional Songs were performed at the premises.
At present, Homoeopathy and Allopathy sections have been started. Medicines are also given free of cost to the patients.
