On November 25, 2024, Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, the President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, graced Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani with his divine presence.
A significant event during the visit was the inauguration of the newly constructed Abhedananda Seva Niketan, an extension to the existing Abhedananda Databya Chikitsalaya.
Approximately 1000 devotees were blessed with the holy touch and blessings of the Revered Maharaj at the Vivekananda Auditorium. The spiritual program commenced with Vedic chants and concluded with a Ramakrishna Smaranam.
Around twenty monks from nearby Ashrams were honored with ‘Sadhu Pujan’ and a community feast.
