Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sarisha, renovated the H.S. Building of Ramakrishna Mission Saradamandira Girls’ School, Sarisha, and upgraded the Higher Secondary section. Swami Suvirananda ji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, was inaugurated the HS Building and the HS Section on 19 July 2023. Revered Maharaj also consecrated the newly established Holy Trios Asana with an image by offering arghyas and Karpur arati at school.
Swami Suvirananda ji also inaugurated the STEM Lab donated and established by Infosys Foundation electronically. He handed over Revered Shrimat Swami Nirvananandaji scholarship (of Rs.10,000/-) to two students of Saradamandira who stood 1st position in the Madhyamik Examination among the school students in 2022 and 2023.
On this occasion a function was organized and Swami Suvirananda ji presided over the meeting. He gave an inspiring speech to the students. Dr. Biswajit Ghosh, Vice-chancellor, The Neotia University also grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
Students of the school unitedly started the function with Vedic mantras and an opening song. The assembled students chanted one chapter from the Shrimad Bhagavat Gita, and closed the function with closing group songs. Monks, students, teachers, professors, ex-students, dignitaries, of nearly 1600 were present in the meeting.
