Ramakrishna Math, Math Chandipur, was blessed by the holy presence of Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math from 17th to 19th June 2025. His visit brought immense joy and spiritual fervour to devotees, monastics, and well-wishers alike.
17 June 2025 (Tuesday)
Grand Reception and Procession
At 10:30 a.m., Revered Maharaj was accorded a grand welcome at Bhabanipur bus stand with a convoy of 15 decorated cars, banners, and bikes adorned with flags. The procession, joined by enthusiastic devotees and a special Vivek Rath (invited from Haldia Abhyuday), accompanied Maharaj to the Ashrama.
At 11:00 a.m., Maharaj set foot in Ramakrishna Math, Math Chandipur, where over 1600 devotees greeted him with heartfelt reverence.
At 11:30 a.m., he offered Arghya and Arati at the temple shrine, followed by darshan and pranam for devotees until 1:00 p.m.
Prasadam was served to all 1600 assembled devotees.
In the evening, at 6:30 p.m., Maharaj graced the temple bhajans and evening prayer, following which devotees again had the blessed opportunity to offer their pranams.
18 June 2025 (Wednesday)
Special Puja and Shrine Rituals
In the morning, Swami Tattwavidananda ji performed a special puja and homa. Bhoga was offered to the Holy Trio.
At 10:00 a.m., Revered President Maharaj replaced the photos of the Holy Trio in the temple shrine and offered arghya and arati.
Inaugurations and Foundation Stone Laying:
- 10:20 a.m. – Inauguration of the Maa Sarada Niramay Kendra (Dispensary)
- 10:40 a.m. – Foundation stone laid for the Senior Monks’ Quarters
- 10:45 a.m. – Inauguration of Advaitananda Bhavan (Farmers’ Hostel cum Guest House)
From 11:05 a.m. to 11:25 a.m., Maharaj blessed the CSR contributors who helped finance the above projects. Devotees offered pranams until 12:15 p.m.
Sadhu Bhandara (12:45 – 1:30 p.m.):
A special Sadhu Bhandara was held, attended by 88 monks from 18 Centres of the Order.
General Bhandara:
Over 700 devotees and 150 staff/volunteers partook of lunch prasad.
Dharma Sabha (4:00 – 6:10 p.m.):

At 6:30 p.m., Maharaj again joined the evening prayer and bhajans, concluding the second day’s proceedings.
