Ramakrishna Mission, Rourkela inaugurated its new Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) Unit at Gopabandhu Palli on the afternoon of 1 January 2026.
The programme commenced with floral offerings to the Holy Trio, followed by arati performed by the monastic members and devotees. The students of the GAP unit added sanctity to the occasion through chanting of hymns and prayers, creating a devotional and uplifting atmosphere.
The inauguration marked an important step in the Mission’s ongoing efforts to extend educational, cultural, and value-oriented development to children and youth of the locality. The new GAP unit is expected to play a significant role in supporting the holistic development of underprivileged children, in alignment with the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
