On December 6, 2024, a significant event took place at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama in Guwahati. Revered Swami Vimalatmananda ji Maharaj, the Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, graced the occasion by inaugurating a newly constructed Prayer Hall at the old Ashrama Campus in Chatribari.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a special Puja and Homa dedicated to Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Deva. Following this, Revered Maharaj ji delivered a spiritually uplifting address to the assembled devotees. Approximately 300 devotees attended the auspicious event, and all were offered khichuri Prasad at the conclusion of the program.
In addition to the inauguration, Revered Maharaj ji dedicated newly acquired medical equipment to the Ashrama’s charitable dispensary. This generous act will further enhance the dispensary’s ability to serve the needs of the poor and needy.
