Ramakrishna Math, Kanchipuram, inaugurated a New Students’ Hostel for boys belonging to economically challenged rural families on 1st June 2025. The event was marked by a simple yet spiritually uplifting ceremony, which included Special Puja, Bhajans, and Homa. The occasion was graced by local devotees and monastic members from neighbouring centres.
Following the inaugural function, Sadhu Bhandara and Special Dinner Prasad for devotees were held at noon.
In the first phase of admissions, 17 students from Classes 6 to 9, primarily from SC/ST and economically disadvantaged rural backgrounds, have been admitted to the Hostel. The boys have also secured admission to a government-aided private school located approximately 5 km from the Ashrama, and have started attending regular classes.
