Inauguration of New Wards in the Hospital: Vrindavan, February 2025

Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan, inaugurated its newly expanded medical facilities, adding 100 beds to its charitable hospital. The expansion, encompassing the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Sarada Block, was formally opened by Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. The inauguration coincided with the holy janmatithi day of Swami Adbhutananda Maharaj, a direct disciple of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, on 12 February 2025, adding a special significance to the event.

The new facilities include a range of specialized units such as an Oncology General Ward, Surgical ICU (SICU), Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU), and a Dialysis Unit. In addition, the expansion provides increased accommodation options with additional Private Cabins, Deluxe Rooms, and Suite Rooms.

This significant development increases the hospital’s capacity from 300 to 400 beds and addresses the growing demand for quality healthcare in the region. While continuing its primary mission to serve the underprivileged, the expansion will also enable the Sevashrama to cater to a wider range of patients, including those with insurance and beneficiaries of government and PSU healthcare schemes.

The ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, devotees, and members of the community.
