Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata, inaugurated a 2nd Oxygen Generator Plant on 19 November 2021, in the presence of Swami Bodhasrananda, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math; Rear Admiral V. K. Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director, Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. A few doctors, nurses, other medical staffs and monastics attended the programme maintaining the Covid-19 protocol. The Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. sanctioned an amount of Rs. 1 Crore for this Oxygen Generator Plant, which has a capacity of 26 SM³/Hour, and will be of utmost importance for smooth functioning of the Indoor Department of the Seva Pratishthan hospital and can handle high oxygen demand.
