Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Literature Publication and Showroom of the newly-built Vivekananda Bhavan of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka was ceremoniously opened at 9:00 a.m. on 25 November, 2018. It is praiseworthy to mention that the High Commission of India to Bangladesh, Dhaka made the financial donation in the construction of the Bhavan.The program was featured by Sri Ramakrishna Puja in the “Publication and Showroom” and a public meeting on the math premises. Vedic Shanti Mantra and Hymns were chanted in the publication room as well.
Srimat Swami Suhitananda Maharaj, Vice-President, Belur Math, India, inaugurated the Publication and Showroom by cutting the ribbon and unveiling a plaque. With Sri Subal Saha, Vice-President, Managing Committee, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, in the chair the public meeting was addressed by Srimat Swami Suhitananda Maharaj as the Chief Guest.
Srimat Swami Ameyanandaji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math, Dhaka delivered the benedictory address, while Swami Dhruveshananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka gave the welcome address.
Srimat Swami Akhileshananda Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama & Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat and Swami Chandrakantananda Maharaj, Secretary to Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj spoke in the congregation among the others.Swami Gurusevananda gave vote of thanks. Snacks packets were served among the audience after the meeting. About 250 people attended the program. Online news papers publicized the news with great importance.
