Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has installed a 93.96 kW on-grid solar roof system at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Morabadi, Ranchi under its CSR scheme for green energy production. On the occasion of World Environment Day – 05 June 2024, the power plant was inaugurated by Neelendu Kumar Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL.
Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ranchi, welcomed the guests and informed them about the work done by the Ashrama for rural development.
Shri Neelendu Kumar Singh appreciated the work done by the Ashrama for social upliftment and stressed the need to promote new agricultural techniques such as integrated farming system, drip irrigation, hydroponics, natural farming etc.
Shri Harsh Nath Mishra, Director Personnel, CCL in his address appreciated the work done by the Ashrama for developing the society by imbibing the ideas of Swami Vivekananda.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks. More than 50 people including CCL officials, scientists of Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, monks and Ashram staff participated in the program.
