“Sri Sarada Devi – BPCL Block” in Sri Ramakrishna Math Vivekananda Centenary Girls Higher Secondary School, Mint, Chennai, was inaugurated by Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, on 27 October, 2021. The function was celebrated in the presence of dignitaries — Mrs. Sangita Kelkar, G.M. Admin, & CSR (HRS), BPCL; Sri S. Varadarajan, former Chairman and MD, BPCL; Sri S.Mars, Chief Education Officer, Chennai; and Sri. S. Kannan, Chief Finance Officer, Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd and other officers of the Education department of Tamil Nadu. Monks and brahmacharins from nearby centres and from Chennai Math attended the function.
This school was the first school started by Swami Ramakrishnananda and has completed 115 years.
