Inauguration at Swami Vivekananda’s Rural Ancestral Home
Revered Swami Suvirananda ji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated the newly constructed Vivekananda Museum and Cultural Centre at the Palli Paitrik Vita (Rural Ancestral Home) of Swami Vivekananda, located at Village Datta Dariyaton, P.S.- Kalna, Dist- Purba Bardhaman. The inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Grand Procession and Cultural Tributes
The event was marked by an overwhelming display of devotion and cultural celebration from the local community. Devotees and admirers from Kalna, Katwa, and Bardhaman paid their homage to Revered Maharaj with a magnificent procession from Boinchi Market to Datta Dariyaton:

Upon arrival, Swami Suvirananda ji Maharaj performed the traditional offering of floral tribute and Aarati to the Holy Trio. He then unveiled the marble plaque, formally inaugurating the Vivekananda Library and Cultural Centre.
Revered Maharaj subsequently graced the audience with his blessings and address, emphasizing the center’s role in disseminating Swamiji’s timeless message to the rural community, making the ancestral home a potent source of inspiration and spiritual energy.
