1. Inauguration of Akhandananda Orchard – 24 July 2025
Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated the Akhandananda Orchard, a permaculture fruit garden spread over 2 acres on the banks of the Dehing River, within the Narottam Nagar campus.
- The orchard hosts 30+ varieties of fruits, including several GI-tagged types.
- Intercropping includes papaya, ginger, and turmeric.
- A beautiful gate and a Tulsi Mandap add to its charm.
- Vetiver plants have been used to prevent riverbank erosion.
2. Inauguration of Premananda Bhavan – 24 July 2025
On the same day, Revered Maharaj also inaugurated Premananda Bhavan, a three-storey Guest House-cum-Staff Quarters.
- It includes 2 BHK flats for 4 families and facilities to host 10 guests with modern amenities.
3. Inauguration of Vidya Dwar – 26 July 2025
A decorative archway named “Vidya Dwar” was inaugurated by Revered Maharaj in the presence of Sri Wangki Lowang, Hon’ble Minister of Environment, Forest, Geology, Mining & DoTCL, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.
