Ramakrishna Mission, Rourkela, organized a vibrant one-day competition on November 17, 2024, as part of its youth initiatives. The event showcased the talents of young minds, featuring two engaging categories: an essay-writing competition on “Personality Development Through the Teachings of Swami Vivekananda” and a Bhagavad Gita Sloka Recitation and Narration contest. Approximately 50 selected students from classes VIII to X participated with enthusiasm.
To acknowledge their efforts and achievements, prizes and merit certificates were awarded to all participants. After a delightful lunch, the students dispersed, inspired by the motivational speeches delivered by Swami Buddhadevananda, Sri Asoke Kr. Hota, and Sri Sajal Kr. Roy. The speakers encouraged the students to embody the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda in their lives, fostering personal growth and societal impact.
