On June 26, 2024, Ramakrishna Mission, Malliankaranai held a program to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction among young people in honor of the International Day against Drug & Illicit Trafficking.
Dr. R Mani, a psychiatrist from the Department of Psychiatry at Rajaji Centre for Deaddiction, Voluntary Health Services Hospital, Chennai, along with his colleagues, successfully led the program for the youth.
Nearly 200 students and 20 teachers participated in the program, where they pledged to stay away from drugs.
