Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, through its unit Brahmanandodayam Sanskrit Upper Primary School (BSUPS), Kalady, celebrated International Yoga Day and World Music Day on 21 June 2025 with great enthusiasm and spirit.
The event was inaugurated by Sri P.B. Sajeev, Ward Member, and was presided over by Smt. Padmakumari K.C., President of the MPTA.
Dr. Veenalakshmi, BPC of Angamaly BRC, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Smt. Dhanya, Cluster Co-ordinator, also addressed the students, encouraging them to embrace wellness and creativity.
A yoga session was conducted by Smt. Mini Sivadas, during which students actively participated and also presented yoga demonstrations. The celebration included group songs by students that emphasized the values of health, harmony, and the universal language of music.
Smt. Suma Devi, Headmistress, welcomed the gathering, and Smt. Shanthi M. delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the vibrant event to a close.
