Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, partnered with Sree Sankaracharya Yoga Training Academy to host a successful International Yoga Day program on June 21st 2024. This event aimed to introduce the cadets and staff of Ashrama School to the practice and benefits of yoga.
Swami Kritajnananda, in his opening address, highlighted the importance of Yoga Day and its worldwide recognition. He emphasized the numerous advantages yoga offers and its potential to enhance daily life.
Yogacharya Sri. Biju Abel Jacob led the session, providing expert guidance to ensure efficient learning and practice. He skillfully guided the participants through various yoga postures (asanas) and breathing techniques.
The program saw active participation from 75 cadets and 10 staff members.
