Ramakrishna Mission Kasundia, Howrah, started Amphan cyclone relief services to aid families affected by the Cyclone Amphan which unleashed havoc on 20 May 2020.
The ashrama distributed 4500kg Rice,750 kg Pulse, 4500kg Potato, 675 kg Soyabean, 750 kg Salt, 750 litres Cooking Oil and 1500 pcs Bar Soap among 1500 families in Amtala (North 24 paraganas), Jamdanda, Deulpur, and in Saraswati Pally, Ichapur HIT Quarter, Ichapur Colony, Kadamtala basty in Howrah District till 22 June 2020.
The ashrama served cooked food (Rice,Dal, Mix Curry) to 3000 people in the slum areas of Howrah.
This branch centre also distributed 500 Tarpaulins to most deserving needy families at four spots around Dumurjala Stadium & Rajib Colony at Howrah District.
