As part of its Silver Jubilee Celebrations, the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence (VIHE), Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, launched a new monthly initiative titled “VIHE Dialogues” on 2 August 2025, aimed at inspiring transformative thinking among the youth.
The launch event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 500 school students. The programme commenced with Vedic chanting, followed by a campus tour covering the temple, bookstall, and nature zone that features over 600 plant species.
The inaugural session featured a vibrant dialogue between Dr. B. S. Murthy, Director of IIT Hyderabad, and Swami Bodhamayananda, Director of VIHE. The interactive Q&A session saw students ask insightful and witty questions covering topics like nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, liberal arts, spirituality, and career development.
Swami Bodhamayananda highlighted the importance of integrating science with values, while Dr. Murthy encouraged young minds to move beyond rote learning and pursue innovation.
Going forward, VIHE Dialogues will be held every month, focusing on the confluence of science, values, culture, and service, thereby serving as a dynamic platform for youth empowerment and nation-building.
