Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri under the guidance of Belur Math and with the financial support of the Infosys Foundation, successfully conducted the “Maternity and Child Welfare Services Project.” This initiative aimed to support antenatal and postnatal mothers, as well as children under 3 years of age.
Through this project, 963 mothers and children received free medicines and nutritious food. In addition to the distribution of essential supplies, health awareness programs were organized at each camp, with the help of doctors.
A total of nine camps were held in February and March 2025 at various rural areas and tea gardens around Jalpaiguri. The camps were run by a dedicated team of general physicians and volunteers.
