On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, with the generous support of Infosys Foundation, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri organized a Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme at the Ashrama premises.
A total of 64 antenatal and 148 postnatal mothers benefited from the initiative. The services provided included:
- Free medical check-ups
- Free medicines and nutritional supplements
The programme aimed at supporting maternal health and child welfare in underprivileged communities.
Dr. Kalyan Mukherjee, Chief Medical Officer (AYUSH), Jalpaiguri, graced the occasion and conducted an awareness session on maternal care, nutrition, and postnatal wellbeing.
This humanitarian effort is part of the Ashrama’s ongoing commitment to serve society through holistic health and welfare services.
