Ramakrishna Mission, Kailashahar, was favoured with the Maternity and Child Welfare Services project funded by Infosys Foundation. Under this initiative, a service camp was organized at Kaulikurah Gram Panchayat (Primary Health Centre), Unakoti District, on 24 August 2025, where 46 expecting mothers benefitted from the programme.
A team comprising 2 doctors and 5 health workers rendered the necessary medical assistance. In addition, the following items were distributed free of cost:
- Medicines: Iron Folic Acid, Calcium, Paracetamol, Cefixime, Amoxicillin, Multivitamins, Pantoprazole/Rabeprazole, ORS, O₂, etc.
- Nutritious Food: Milk, Sugar, Eggs, Fruits, Soya Beans, Masoor Dal, Horlicks, etc.
- Toiletry Items: Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Soap/Detergent, etc.
This initiative provided vital healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene support to rural mothers, ensuring better maternal and child well-being.
