Ramakrishna Mission, Kailashahar, under the Maternity and Child Welfare Services project funded by the Infosys Foundation, rendered services at Jagannathpur Tea Estate (within the range of Manuvalley Tea Estate) on 27 July 2025.
During the programme, 53 expecting mothers and 154 children were benefitted. Two doctors and seven health workers extended the necessary medical assistance.
As part of the support, free medicines were distributed, including:
– For children: Amoxicillin, Cefixime, Multivitamins, Albendazole, Paracetamol, Cough syrup, ORS, Pantoprazole, O2 syrup, etc.
– For expecting mothers: Iron folic acid, Calcium, Paracetamol, Cefixime, Amoxicillin, Multivitamins, Pantoprazole/Rabeprazole, Amlodipine 5mg, ORS, O2, etc.
In addition, nutritious food items such as milk, sugar, eggs, fruits, soya beans, masoor dal, and Horlicks were provided, along with toiletry kits containing toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and detergent. All the attending mothers and children received these provisions during the camp.
