Ramakrishna Mission, Guwahati, continued its “Maternity & Child Welfare Services” funded by Infosys Foundation through Headquarters, at Village-Borgaon (Tea Garden area) and Village-Belguri under Morigaon District, during August 2025. Pregnant women and children from various communities, both Tribal and General, availed these services.
A dedicated team of specialist and general doctors, along with pharmacists and health assistants, worked under the direct supervision of monastic members. Routine antenatal check-ups were conducted for pregnant mothers. Free medicines such as calcium, iron, folic acid, multivitamins, and other essential drugs were distributed. Nutritional supplements including protein powder, fresh fruits, and dry fruits (cashew, dates, and pistachio) were provided to pregnant mothers. Children received essential medicines and supplementary food such as Junior Horlicks and fruits.

- 9 August, Village Borgaon (Morigaon District): 71 mothers treated
- 24 August, Village Borgaon (Morigaon District): 137 mothers treated
Total beneficiaries: 208 mothers
