Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, organised a free Medical Camp on 13 October 2023 in association with ASCOMS Hospital and Government Ayurvedic Hospital. Free consultation was provided by a team of Cardiologist, Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist, Gastroenterologist, ENT specialist, Pediatrician, Orthopedic, Eye specialist, Gynecologist, General Physicians, Dental surgeon, General Surgeon, Physiotherapist, Dietician and a Psychologist. In all, a group of 22 doctors examined 677 patients. Apart from this 150 sugar tests and 85 blood pressure tests were done free of cost. Quite a good number of people received free medicines both Allopathic as well as Ayurvedic.
The dignitaries present in the camp included Sri Harbaksh Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Jammu and Sri Mohammad Iqbal, Deputy Drug Controller, Jammu.
