Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, arranged a Free Super Specialty Swasthya Mela in association with AIIMS Rishikesh on the 12 February 2023. More than 300 patients were given free consultations by an expert team of doctors from AIIMS Rishikesh, which included the Director, Dean, Medical Superintendent and many heads of the departments.
Dr. M. Srinivas, Director of AIIMS New Delhi, was also present as a special guest. State dignitaries, led by Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, distributed fruits to indoor patients and later spoke in a program arranged to facilitate the doctors. She appreciated the Sevashrama and health care providers for serving the poor and needy in the spirit of “Service to Man is Service to God” as taught by Swami Vivekananda.
