The Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa-Durban held a medical outreach camp in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday 24 March 2024. There were approximately 700 consultations in Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Audiology, Optometry, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Dietetics and Psychology. The services offered included glucose and blood pressure screening. Testing for vision and prescriptions for spectacles, dispensing of free medication and laboratory tests were also performed. A total of 459 indigent patients were treated.
Meals were served to all patients and volunteers attending.
