Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram conducted programmes in Jail, as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo, on 12 & 13 August 2022. The Programmes started with Vande Mataram and Vedic Chanting followed by lectures.
12 August 2022, Narsapuram Sub-Jail:Â Swami Vinishchalananda and the guests addressed the gathering. The centre distributed books and sweets to all the prisoners and Jail Staff. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
13 August morning at Rajahmundry Central Jail: Swami Vinishchalananda and the guests addressed the gathering. The centre distributed 2500 books “Sandesa Tarangini” (Lectures from Colombo to Almora in Telugu) and 2500 sweets distributed to all the inmates of the Jail.
