Motivational Programmes for Students
In June and July 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, organized several motivational programmes for students across different locations. On June 14, the organization ‘Nallor Vattam’ (Circle of the Good) inspired 20 students at a session held at the City Centre, where they also received blessings. The following day, 30 students from Rudhran Music School, Thanjavur, took part in a values education programme at the same venue. A large gathering of about 1,000 first-year students at Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, attended an orientation session on June 18, where Swami Vimurtananda addressed them.
Engagement with Parents and Students
On June 30, a motivational talk by Swami Vimurtananda was delivered to 200 parents of first-year students at Mass Arts and Science College near Kumbakonam. In Thiruvarur, on July 3, a rejuvenation session was conducted for 675 first-year students of Swami Dayananda Arts and Science College, Manjakudi. At Maharishi Vidya Mandir School in Thanjavur, 250 students on July 10 learned about the importance and greatness of the Guru.
Values Education and Cultural Activities
Another values education programme took place on July 18 at the City Centre, where 60 students from Swami Dayananda Primary & Nursery School, Pillaiyarpatti, participated in the Sri Sarada Devi Children’s Cultural Class. At this event, the students were also given a laminated picture of Swamiji and a book as keepsakes.
Inspiring Service Organization Leaders
Earlier in the month, on June 8, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, hosted an interaction and inspiration session for administrators from 27 service-oriented organizations working in education, healthcare, blood donation, and social welfare. This gathering was organized under the Networking and Development Centre for Service Organizations (NDSO) banner to encourage collaboration and motivate these community leaders. Each organization received books about the Holy Trio—Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda—along with framed photographs to inspire their dedicated service.
These programmes reflect the sustained commitment of Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, to foster values, motivation, and character building among students and community leaders, guided by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Sarada Devi.
