Ramakrishna Mission, Kanpur organized a National Seminar to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, on 11 Sep 2019.
The day-long event was inaugurated by Professor Abhay Karandikar, the present Director of IIT Kanpur. Besides screening of two short films on Chicago Addresses of Swamiji, the Seminar included talks by Swami Yajnadharanandaji (Belur Math), Swami Supradiptanandaji (RKM Gwalior), V.Srinivas (Ideas Illumine, Mumbai), Raviraj Singh (Lucknow) and Sharad Vivek Sagar (Patna).
Over 300 people consisting of our devotees, doctors from the dispensary, college and high school students and invited guests attended the programme.
All the participants were given a set of books on Swamiji.
